s1 2 s3 Land Legislation Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2002 No. 24, 2002 PART 1—PRELIMINARY 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Land Legislation Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2002 . PART 2—AMENDMENT OF LAND REGULATION 1995 2 Regulation amended in pt 2 This part amends the Land Regulation 1995. 3 Amendment of s 39 (Fees) Section 39— insert — ‘ (2) The fee paid on lodgment of a document is forfeited if the document is rejected under section 306(1) 1 of the Act. ‘ (3) The fee payable on relodgment of a document under section 306(4) of the Act is half the fee in schedule 6 for lodgment of the document. ‘ (4) A fee is not payable for the lodgment and registration of— (a) an instrument of transfer of land to, or acquisition or lease of land by, the State; or (b) a covenant or release of a covenant if the covenantee is the State.’. 1 Section 306 (Rejecting document for failure to comply with requisition) of the Act

s4 3 s7 Land Legislation Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2002 No. 24, 2002 PART 3—AMENDMENT OF RURAL LANDS PROTECTION REGULATION 1989 4 Regulation amended in pt 3 This part amends the Rural Lands Protection Regulation 1989. 5 Amendment of s 4 (Definitions) Section 4— insert — ‘ “travelling stock rate area” see section 6.’. 6 Replacement of s 6 (Travelling stock rate area) Section 6— omit, insert — ‘6 Meaning of “travelling stock rate area” ‘The local government area for each local government mentioned in schedule 1A is a “travelling stock rate area” . ‘6A Travelling-stock rate—Act, s 16 ‘The travelling-stock rate in schedule 2, item 1, is prescribed for travelling stock in a travelling stock rate area.’. 7 Amendment of s 7 (Stock route permits) (1) Section 7(5), from ‘The’— omit . (2) Section 7— insert — ‘ (5A) The amount payable must be the greater of the following amounts— (a) $5;
