This Act may be cited as the Land and Income Tax Assessment Act Amendment Act, 1936, and shall be read as one with the Land and Income Tax Assessment Act, 1907-1931 (as reprinted in the Appendix to the Ses- sional Volume of the Statutes for the year 1932, and amended by Acts Nos. 40 of 1932 and 41 of 1932), herein- after referred to as the principal Act. Short title:

2.    Section nine of the principal Act is hereby amended Amendment of

of subsection (2) and inserting in lieu thereof the words

"agricultural, pastoral, horticultural, apicultural, graz-

ing, pig-raising or poultry-farming business."

This Act shall have effect as if enacted on the first day of July, nineteen hundred and thirty-six.
