Explanatory note

The object of these Rules is to amend the Land and Environment Court Rules

1996 to extend the hours of the Court Registry from 8.30 am to 5 pm.

1     Name of Rules

These rules are the Land and Environment Court Rules (Amendment

No 6) 2002.

2 Commencement

These rules commence on 1 July 2002.

3 Amendment of Supreme Court Rules 1970

The Land and Environment Court Rules 1996 are amended by omitting from Part 5 Rule 2 (1) the words “between 9 am and 4 pm” and by substituting the words “between 8.30 am and 5 pm”.
