Land Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2012 [s 1] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Land Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2012 . 2 Regulation amended This regulation amends the Land Regulation 2009. 3 Amendment of s 38A (Set rent for particular leases—Act, s 183A) (1) Section 38A(3), ‘the rental period ending 30 June 2012’— omit , insert — ‘a rental period’. (2) Section 38A(3)(b), ‘rental period ending 30 June 2011’— omit , insert — ‘immediately preceding rental period’. (3) Section 38A(4), from ‘less’— omit , insert — ‘less than the prescribed minimum rent, the set rent for the lease is the prescribed minimum rent.’. (4) Section 38A— insert — ‘(5) Subsection (3), (4) and this subsection expire on 30 June 2015. ‘(6) In this section— prescribed minimum rent means the prescribed minimum rent, for the category of the lease, under section 38.’.
