s1 2 s5 Land Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2007 No. 160, 2007 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Land Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2007 . 2 Commencement This regulation commences on 1 July 2007. 3 Regulation amended This regulation amends the Land Regulation 1995. 4 Amendment of s 19 (Rate for calculating rent for leases—Act, s 183) (1) Section 19(a), ‘0.8%’— omit, insert — ‘1.5%’. (2) Section 19(c)(i), ‘commencing’— omit, insert — ‘starting’. (3) Section 19, heading— omit, insert— ‘19 Prescribed matters for calculating rent—Act, s 183 ‘(1) For section 183(1) of the Act, the prescribed valuation for rental purposes for a lease, licence or permit of any category in relation to the rental period starting on 1 July 2007 is the most recently made valuation for rental purposes.’. 5 Insertion of new s 19A After section 19— insert—
