s1 2 s5 Land Amendment (No. 1) No. 49, 1995 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Land Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1995 . ˙ Regulation amended 2. This regulation amends the Land Regulation 1988 . ˙ Amendment of s 44 (Interest rates) 3.(1) Section 44(1), (3), (4) and (6), ‘9%’— omit, insert— ‘10.5%’. (2) Section 44(2), ‘5%’— omit, insert— ‘6.5%’. ˙ Amendment of s 49 (Hardship—s 248A of the Act) 4.(1) Section 49(1), ‘5%’— omit, insert— ‘6.5%’. (2) Section 49(2), ‘1 January 1994’— omit, insert— ‘1 February 1995’. ˙ Amendment of s 50 (Penalty interest rates—s 249 of the Act) 5.(1) Section 50(1), ‘11.5%’— omit, insert— ‘13%’.
