AN ACT to continue the operation of the Land

Alienation Restriction Act, 1944.

[Assented to 14th January, 1947.]

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty,by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title.

1.

This Act may be cited as the Land Alienation Restriction Act Continuance Act, 1946, and shall be read as one with the Land Alienation Restriction Act, 1944 (No. 17 of 1944), hereinafter referred to as the principal Act.

Continuance

2.

(1) The principal Act shall continue in force until

the end of the year one thousand nine hundred and forty-

seven, and no longer.

(2) Section five of the principal Act is amended by deleting the word "forty-six" in line two, and inserting in lieu thereof the word "forty-seven."
