AN ACT to continue the operation of the Land Alien-

ation Restriction Act, 1944-1947.

[Assented to 11th November, 1946.]

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty,by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title 1.

This Act may be cited as the Land Alienation Restriction Act Amendment (Continuance) Act, 1948,

and shall be read as one with the Land Alienation Restriction Act, 1944-1947 (No. 17 of 1944, as amended by Nos. 23 of 1946 and 33 of 1947), hereinafter referred to as the principal Act.

Amendment

Section five of the principal Act is amended by

substituting for the word "forty-eight" in line two the

word "forty-nine."
