(CONTINUANCE).

AN ACT to continue the operation of the Land Alien-

ation Restriction Act, 1944.

[Assented to 1st December, 1947.]

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty,by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-

1.   This Act may be cited as the Land Alienation Short title.

Restriction Act Amendment (Continuance) Act, 1947, and shall be read as one with the Land Alienation Restriction Act, 1944 (No. 17 of 1944, as amended by No. 23 of 1946), hereinafter referred to as the principal Act.

2.    The principal Act as amended by this Act may be Citation of

cited as the Land Alienation Restriction Act, 19444947. principal Act as amended.

3.    Section five of the principal Act is amended by Amendment

deleting the word "forty-seven" in line two and inserting of S. 5.

in lieu thereof the word "forty-eight."
