ANNO QUARTO DECIMO ELIZABETHAE SECUNDAE REGINAE No. 14 of 1965 An Act to Amend "The Land Acts, 1962 to 1964," in a certain particular 651 [ASSENTED To 22ND APRIL , 19 BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. (1) Short title. This Act may he cited as " The Land Acts Amendment Act o/'1965." (2) Principal Act. " The Land Acts. 1962 to 1964," are in this Act referred to as the Principal Act. (3) Collective title . The Principal Act and this Act may be collectively cited as " The Land Acts, 1962 to 1965." 2. Commencement of Act. This Act shall be deemed to have come into force on and from the first day of March. one thousand nine hundred and sixty-five and shall operate retrospectively accordingly.

Section thirty-one of the Principal Act is amended by- (a) in subsection (1) omitting the words " five thousand two hundred and fifty pounds " and inserting in their stead the words " five thousand five hundred pounds "; (b) in subsection (2) omitting the words " four thousand seven hundred and fifty pounds " and inserting in their stead the words " five thousand pounds ".
