AN ACT to amend the Land Act, 1933-1950.

[Assented to 9th January, 1954.]

BE it enacted, by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Land Act 23rgattton.

Amendment Act, 1953.

(2) In this Act the Land Act, 1933-1950,

Act No. 37 of 1933 as reprinted with amendments to and including Act No. 68 of 1948 incorporated pursuant to the provisions of the Amendments Incorporation Act, 1938, and as further amended by Act No. 58 of 1950,

is referred to as the principal Act.

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act

may be cited as the Land Act, 1933-1953.

2. Section one hundred and nine A of the 2ned.

principal Act is amended by

(a)

deleting the words "if the land is situate in the South-West Division, or within a period of twelve months from the said date, if the land is situate in any other Division" in lines five, six, seven and eight of subsec- tion (3);

(b) deleting subsection (4);

(c)

deleting the words "or of twelve months, as the case may be" in line two of subsec- tion (5).
