AN ACT to amend the Land Act, 1933-1934, by making provision therein for relief from payment of rent for pastoral lessees whose Leases are situate in drought-stricken areas.

Short title.

1. This Act may be cited as the Land Act Amend- ment Act, 1936, and shall be read as one with the Land Act, 1933-1934 (hereinafter called the principal Act).

(2.) The relief granted under this section may be total or partial, and may take the form of ex- tended terms for the payment of the rent payable under the lease.
