[A ssented to 15 th M arch , I960.] B E it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legis­ lative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:— 1. (1.) This Act may be cited as “ The Labour short title. and Industry Acts Amendment Act of 1960.” (2.) “ The Labour and Industry Acts, 1946 to 1952,” Principal are in this Act referred to as the Principal Act. The Principal Act and this Act may be collectively cited as “ The Labour and Industry Acts, 1946 to 1960.” Amendments 2. Section twenty-nine of the Principal Act is of S. 29. amend J ed J u by— (a) Repealing the word “ institution ”, wherever appearing, and inserting, in lieu of that repealed word, wheresoever repealed, the word “ person ” ; and (b) Repealing the words “ its funds ”, where appearing in the first paragraph, and inserting, in lieu of those repealed words, the words “ the funds of stieh bank or person ”. Amendments 3. Section thirty-four of the Principal Act is °f s. 34. amended by— (а) Repealing the brackets and numeral “ (1) ” ; (б) Repealing the word “ institution ”, wherever appearing, and inserting, in lieu of that repealed word, wheresoever repealed, the word “ person ” ; and (c) By repealing the words “ section twenty-eight ” and inserting, in lieu of those repealed words, the words “ section twenty-nine ”. Amendments 4. Section thirty-six of the Principal Act is amended of s. 36. Jjy__ (a) Repealing the word “ institution ”, where firstly appearing, and inserting, in lieu of that repealed word, where so repealed, the words “ person who made the loan ”; ( b ) Repealing the word “ institution ”, where secondly appearing, and inserting, in lieu of that repealed word, where so repealed, the words “ such person ” ;

(c) Repealing the words “ such institution ”, wherever appearing, and inserting, in lieu of those repealed words, wheresoever repealed, the words “ such person ” ; and (d) Repealing the words “ its own claims ” and inserting, in lieu of those repealed words, the words “ its or his own claims 655
