Clause 1 Kogarah Local Environmental Plan 1998 (Amendment No 36)

Kogarah Local Environmental Plan 1998

(Amendment No 36)

1     Name of plan

This plan is Kogarah Local Environmental Plan 1998 (Amendment

No 36).

2     Aims of plan

This plan aims:

(a) to add a heritage conservation area to Schedule 3 to Kogarah Local Environmental Plan 1998 so as to conserve the

environmental heritage of that area, and

(b) to ensure that any development does not adversely affect the heritage character of that heritage conservation area.

3     Land to which plan applies

This plan applies to certain land in Penshurst known as the Penshurst Heritage Conservation Area, as shown edged heavy black on the map marked “Kogarah Local Environmental Plan 1998 (Amendment No 36)” deposited in the office of Kogarah Municipal Council.

4 Amendment of Kogarah Local Environmental Plan 1998

Kogarah Local Environmental Plan 1998 is amended as set out in

Schedule 1.
