Kogarah Local Environmental Plan 1998 (Amendment

No 22)

under the

Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979

1      Name of plan

This plan is Kogarah Local Environmental Plan 1998 (Amendment

No 22).

2      Aim of plan

The aim of this plan is to amend Kogarah Local Environmental Plan

1998:

(a)

to conserve the environmental heritage of the land to which this plan applies, and

(b)

to ensure that any development does not adversely affect the heritage significance of the heritage items on the land to which this plan applies and their settings.

3      Land to which plan applies

This plan applies to all land within the local government area of

Kogarah under Kogarah Local Environmental Plan 1998.

4 Amendment of Kogarah Local Environmental Plan 1998

Kogarah Local Environmental Plan 1998 is amended as set out in

Schedule 1.

streetscape means the character of a locality (whether it be a street or precinct) defined by the spatial arrangement and visual appearance of built and landscape features when viewed from the street.
