AN ACT to authorise the Construction of a

Railway from Kalgoorlie to Menzies.

[Assented to, .27th October, 1s96.]

it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and

with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parlia- ment assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:— Preamble.

1.     THIS Act may be cited as the Kalgoorlie-Menzies Railway Short Title.

2. IT shall be lawful to construct and maintain a railway from th

3. IT shall be lawful for the Commissioner of Railways to

ten miles on either side thereof.

DESCRIPTION OF LINE OF RAILWAY.

Commencing at a point in or near Kalgoorlie Townsite, and proceeding thence in a generally North-North-Westerly direction for about 82 miles, and terminating at a point in or near Menzies Townsite, as more particularly delineated by a red line on Map marked P.W.D., WA., 4906, deposited as provided for by 55° Victorim, No. 34, Section 10.
