JUSTICES LEGISLATION AMENDMENT (APPEALS) ACT

1998 No 137—PROCLAMATION

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Justices Legislation Amendment (Appeals) Act 1998, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 March 1999 as the day on which that Act (Schedule

2.22 excepted) commences.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence all of the provisions of the Justices

Legislation Amendment (Appeals) Act 1998, other than Schedule 2.22. It is no longer
appropriate to commence Schedule 2.22 as it amends a provision that is now no longer

in force.
