s 8 10 s 8 Justices Amendment (No. 3) No. 120, 1996 “heavy vehicle” , in part 43, means a vehicle with a GVM of more than 4.5 t. “heavy vehicle combination” , in part 43, means a combination of a heavy vehicle and 1 or more trailers. “local law” means any provision of a local law (other than a local law in relation to regulated parking or an offence against the person) contravention of which may result in a maximum penalty of not more than 50 penalty units or, if the penalty is expressed as a dollar amount, $3 750 for an offence against the provisions. “MRC” , in part 43, see TransportOperations(RoadUseManagement)Regulation 1995, schedule 5. “nominated law” means a law specified in schedule 1 as a law for infringement notice offences. “registrar” means a registrar of a Magistrates Court. “regulated parking” see Traffic Act 1949 , section 9. “table” , for a nominated law, means the table of infringement notice offences and penalties set out in schedule 1 for the law. “trailer” , in part 43, see TransportInfrastructure(Roads)Regulation 1991 .’.
