Justices Amendment (Passenger Transport Offences) Rules 2000

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following rules under section 144 of the Justices Act 1959 .13 June 2000

1Short titleThese rules may be cited as the Justices Amendment (Passenger Transport Offences) Rules 2000 . 2CommencementThese rules take effect immediately after the Passenger Transport Act 1997 commences. 3Principal RulesIn these rules, the Justices Rules 1976 are referred to as the Principal Rules. 4Schedule III amended (Specified offences)Schedule III to the Principal Rules is amended as follows: (a) by inserting the following item after item 7: 7A.   Passenger Transport Act 1997 and any regulations made under it (b) by inserting the following item after item 11A: 11B.   Taxi and Luxury Hire Car Industries Act 1995 and any regulations made under it (c) by omitting item 12 and substituting the following item: 12.   Traffic Act 1925, section 14 (d) by omitting item 15.
