AN ACT to amend the Justices Act 1902-1982.

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Justices EViattlitn.

2. Section 201 of the principal Act is amended by inserting after subsection (3) the following sub- section

C (4) Where a recognisance referred to in

subsection (1) of this section is given follow- ing an order to review granted in relation to a conviction under the Road Traffic Act 1974 any disqualification from holding or obtaining a licence to drive a vehicle pursuant to that Act in respect of such conviction is suspended until the order to review is disposed of and any period during which the disqualification is so suspended shall not be taken into account in determining the period of the disqualification. ".
