Justices Act (Extraordinary Licences) Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 1998

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Justices Act
(Extraordinary Licences) Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 1998.

2.            The regulations amended

The amendments in these regulations are to the Justices Act
(Extraordinary Licences) Regulations 1977*.

3.            Regulation 6 amended

(1) Regulation 6(1)(a) is amended as follows:

(a) by inserting before "list- —

" subject to subsection (2) ";

(b) by deleting "not less than 14 clear days after the date on which the application was lodged".

(2) After regulation 6(1) the following subsection is inserted —

(2) An application referred to in regulation 4(1) or (2) shall

not be listed less than 14 clear days after the date on

which the application was lodged.
