JUSTICES ACT 1902—REGULATION

(Relating to the short description of certain offences under the Forestry

Regulation 1983)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council,

and in pursuance of the Justices Act 1902, has been pleased to make the

Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement

1. This Regulation commences on 1 August 1993.

Amendment

2. The Forestry (Short Description of Offences) Regulation 1987 is

amended by inserting in Schedule 1 in appropriate order in the matter

relating to the Forestry Regulation 1983 the following matter:

Clause 17 (3)—without consent, enter an area or enter prohibited area

part of an area contrary to notice

Clause 17 (3)—without consent, cause a vehicle to cause vehicle to enter
enter an area or part of an area contrary to prohibited area
notice

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to prescribe the short descriptions that, by virtue of section 145B of the Justices Act 1902, are sufficient to state or describe, in any information, complaint, summons, warrant, notice, order or other document, offences under clause 17 (3) of the Forestry Regulation 1983.
