JUSTICES ACT 1902 - REGULATION
(Relating to short descriptions of traffic and other offences)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Justices Act 1902, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement
1. This Regulation commences on 30 July 1990.
Amendments
2. The Justices (Short Descriptions of Motor Traffic and Other
Offences) Regulation 1986 is amended:
(a)
by inserting in appropriate numerical order in Columns 1 and 2, respectively, of Schedule 1 under the heading “General Traffic Regulations 1916” the following matter:
Sections 6.11, 14.1 - ride ride bicycle without bell or
a bicycle without an alarm
efficient bell or alarm affixed on some convenient part
(b)
by omitting from Columns 1 and 2, respectively, under the heading “Transport Licensing Regulations 1931” the matter

relating to Regulations 71 (a), 39 and by inserting instead the
following matter:
Regulations 71 (a), 39 - carry passenger on portion of carry passenger on bus not for passengers platform, step, stairway, roof or other
portion of the omnibus not set aside
for passengers
EXPLANATORY NOTE
The object of this Regulation is to prescribe short descriptions for certain traffic offences relating toscriptions may be used in informations, complaints, summonses, warrants, notices, orders or other documents by virtue of section 145B of the Justices Act 1902.
