JUSTICES ACT 1902—REGULATION

(Relating to fees)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Justices Act 1902, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement

1. This Regulation commences on 1 January 1996.

Amendment

2. The Justices (General) Regulation 1993 is amended by omitting

Schedule 1 and by inserting instead the following Schedule:

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to increase certain fees set out in the Justices (General) Regulation 1993 to be paid to a Clerk of a Local Court in respect of proceedings before any Justice or Justices under the Justices Act 1902.

This Regulation is made under the Justices Act 1902, including section 154 (the

general regulation-making power, in particular, section 154 (1) (a)).
