Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Justices Act 1902.

Explanatory note

The object of this Regulation is to increase certain court fees (set out in the Justices (General) Regulation 2000) to be paid to a Clerk of a Local Court in respect of proceedings under the Justices Act 1902.

The fee increases are in line with movements in the Consumer Price Index. general regulation-making power) and, in particular, section 154 (1) (a).

1     Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Justices (General) Amendment (Fees)

Regulation 2002.

2 Commencement

This Regulation commences on 1 July 2002.

3 Amendment of Justices (General) Regulation 2000

The Justices (General) Regulation 2000 is amended as set out in

Schedule 1.
