His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive CounciI, has made the following Regulation under the Justices Act 1902.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to increase certain fees set out in the Justices (General) Regulation 1993 to be paid to a Clerk of a Local Court in respect of proceedings before any Justice or Justices under the Justices Act 1902. This Regulation is made under the Justices Act 1902, including section 154 (the general regulation-making power, in particular, section 154 (1) (a)).

1 Name of Regulation
This Regulation is the Justices (General) Amendment (Fees)
Regulation 1998.
2 Commencement
This Regulation commences on 1 November 1998.
3 Amendment of Justices (General) Regulation 1993
The Justices (General) Regulation 1993 is amended as set out in
Schedule 1.

continuing the operation of the repealed provision untill
31 December 1999.
