s1 3 s5 Justice Legislation Amendment (No. 1) No. 146, 2000 PART 1—PRELIMINARY ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Justice Legislation Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2000 . ˙ Commencement 2. This regulation commences on 1 July 2000. PART 2—AMENDMENT OF APPEAL COSTS FUND REGULATION 1999 ˙ Regulation amended in pt 2 3. This part amends the Appeal Costs Fund Regulation 1999 . ˙ Amendment of s 12 (Fees payable to board members) 4. Section 12— insert— ‘ (3) If a fee payable is for a supply on which GST is payable, the fee is to be increased to take account of the GST.’. PART 3—AMENDMENT OF CORONERS RULES 1959 ˙ Regulation amended in pt 3 5. This part amends the Coroners Rules 1959 .

s6 4 s8 Justice Legislation Amendment (No. 1) No. 146, 2000 ˙ Insertion of new r 19A 6. After rule 19— insert— ˙ ‘ Increase if GST payable ‘ 19A. If an allowance payable under section 17 or 19 is for a supply on which GST is payable, the amount payable under the section is to be increased to take account of the GST.’. PART 4—AMENDMENT OF CRIMINAL CODE (ANIMAL VALUERS) REGULATION 1999 ˙ Regulation amended in pt 4 7. This part amends the CriminalCode(AnimalValuers)Regulation1999 . ˙ Amendment of s 19 (Fees, expenses and allowances) 8. Section 19— insert— ‘ (8) If an amount payable under this section is for a supply on which GST is payable, the amount payable under this section is to be increased to take account of the GST.’.
