Justice Legislation Amendment Act (No 3) 2018 No 87

I, General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (2) of the Justice Legislation

Amendment Act (No 3) 2018, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 28 February 2019 as the day

on which Schedule 1.9 [2] and 1.20 to that Act commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the following provisions of the Justice Legislation

Amendment Act (No 3) 2018:

(a)	amendments to the Crimes (Administration of Sentences) Act 1999 relating to delaying the release of inmates from custody,
(b)	amendments to the Local Court Act 2007 relating to increasing the jurisdictional limit of the Small Claims Division of the Local Court.
