I, General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (2) of the Justice Legislation

Amendment Act (No 3) 2018, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 4 February 2019 as the day on

which Schedule 1.26 to that Act commences.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence amendments to the Victims Rights and Support Act 2013 that enable the Commissioner of Victims Rights to provide funding from the Victims Support Fund to organisations that are approved by that Commissioner to provide support services for victims of crime.
