Commencement Proclamation

under the

Justice Legislation Amendment Act (No 2) 2018 No 29

DAVID HURLEY, Governor

I, General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (2) of the Justice Legislation

Amendment Act (No 2) 2018, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint:

(a)	1 December 2018 as the day on which Schedule 1.14, 1.16, 1.17 [1]–[4] and [8], 1.19 and 1.20 to that Act commence, and
(b)	1 January 2019 as the day on which Schedule 1.10 [14] to that Act commences.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence amendments to the following Acts:

(a)	Criminal Procedure Act 1986,
(b)	Guardianship Act 1987,
(c)	Land and Environment Court Act 1979,
(d)	Law Enforcement (Powers and Responsibilities) Act 2002,
(e)	Powers of Attorney Act 2003,
(f)	Succession Act 2006.
