1858."

HEREAS it is expedient that the prohibition against any Repeal of part of 22nd.

Viet. No. 7, sec. 19.

allowance for travelling' and other expenses being made to Jurors attending Criminal Trials should be removed: Be it enacted by His Excellency The Governor of Western Australia, and its Dependencies, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows :

1. THE proviso in the nineteenth Section of " The Jury Or-

dinance, 1858," that no remuneration or allowance whatever shall

be given or made to any Juror attending any Trial holden before the Court of General Quarter Sessions, shall be and the same is hereby repealed.
