s1 2 s6 Jury Amendment (No. 1) No. 429, 1997 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Jury Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1997 . ˙ Commencement 2. This regulation commences on the commencement of the Justice andOther Legislation (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act (No. 2) 1997 . ˙ Regulation amended 3. This regulation amends the Jury Regulation 1997 . ˙ Amendment of s 4 (Jury districts) 4. Section 4(2) and (3), ‘a District Court’— omit, insert— ‘the District Court’. ˙ Amendment of sch 1 (Area of certain jury districts) 5.(1) Schedule 1, before item 1— insert— ‘ 1A. Beenleigh jury district—the area of the Beenleigh District Court district.’. (2) Schedule 1, item 1, after ‘ Electoral Act 1992 ’— insert— ‘(other than the part of the area in the Beenleigh District Court district)’. ˙ Amendment of sch 2 (Remuneration and allowances for jurors) 6. Schedule 2, ‘sections 7 to 11’— omit, insert— ‘sections 7 to 9’.
