Commencement Proclamation

under the

Jury Amendment Act 2010 No 55

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Jury Amendment Act 2010, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 August 2010 as the day on which the following provisions of that Act commence:

(a)	Schedule 1 [17],
(b)	Schedule 2 [2] (except to the extent that it inserts a note to clause 5 (4) of the Jury Regulation 2004) and [3].

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence on 1 August 2010 provisions of the Jury Amendment Act 2010 that amend the Jury Act 1977 and the Jury Regulation 2004 in relation to allowances for attendance for jury service.
