AN ACT to amend the Jury Act, 1898-1937.

[Assented to 18th December, 1953.]

BE it enacted, by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Jury Act and citation.

Amendment Act (No. 2), 1953.

In this Act the Jury Act, 1898-1937,

Act No. 10 of 1898 as reprinted with amendments to and including Act No. 12 of 1928 incorporated in the Appendix to the Sessional Volume of the Statutes of the Parliament of Western Australia for the year 1928, and further amended by Acts Nos. 5 of 1937 and 10 of 1937,

is referred to as the principal Act.

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act,

may be cited as the Jury Act, 1898-1953.

2. Section twenty-five of the principal Act is ;j aced.

repealed.
