An Act to amend The Jury Act, 1871,' and The Jury

Act (Amendment) 1880.'

[Assented to 7th April, 1881.

HEREAS it is expedient to amend The Jury Act, 1871,' and

Wset forth : Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Western' The Jury Act (Amendment) 1880,' in the manner hereinafter

Australia and its Dependencies, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows :-

Repeal

1. The first section of The Jury Act (Amendment) 1880 ' is hereby

repealed.

Extension of

2. The radius of twenty-five miles of the place of attendance mentioned in the seventh and sixteenth sections of The Jury Act, 1871,' shall be thirty-six miles, in all cases where a man shall be summoned to attend at Perth, or at any sitting of the Supreme Court, or of any Court of General or Quarter Sessions of the Peace, on any Jury or Inquisition.

3. This Act may be cited as The Jury Act (Amendment) 1881.'
