The Attorney-General for the Territory makes the following Regulations under the Juries Act 1967.

Commencement

1.  These Regulations commence on 30 January 1995.

Principal Regulations

2.  In these Regulations, “Principal Regulations” means the Juries Fees Regulations.

Repeal

3.  The Schedule to the Principal Regulations is repealed and the following Schedule substituted:

SCHEDULE  Regulation 3 

SCALE OF PAYMENTS TO JURORS

1.  Payment for attendance on the Court for less than 4 hours—$40.

2.  Payment for attendance on the Court for 4 hours or more—

(a)for each day from day 1 to day 4 (inclusive)—$70;

(b)for each day from day 5 to day 10 (inclusive)—$80;

(c)for each day from day 11 to day 20 (inclusive)—$95; and

(d)for each day after day 20—$120.
