AN ORDINANCE to regulate the payment of Jurors serving in the Court of General Sessions at Albany.

[7th. July, 1865.

HEREAS it is expedient that the Laws relating to Juries

'Purpose to amend the Ordinance of Council, Ninth of Victoria, No. 5,W

should be uniform throughout the Colony, and for that

of 1815 ; Be it therefore enacted, by His Excellency the Governor

of Western Australia and its Dependencies, by and with the advice

and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:—

repealed, and the following section shall be substituted, read and of pocket.

1, THE seventh section of the said recited Ordinance is hereby Jurors allowed expenses out

applied in the stead thereof, namely

29° VICTORTIE, No. 7.

Payment of Jurors, Albany.

Every Juror who shall attend the said Court, in pursuance of any such summons as aforesaid, shall be entitled to such sums by way of allowance, for necessary expenses, as the said Court shall, from time to time order ; provided such sums shall in no case exceed the scale approved from time to time by the Governor.
