An Act to amend the Jimee Water Supply

Works Act of 1893. [30th April, 1894.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legisla-

tive Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by

the authority of the same, as follows :—•

1. Upon completion of the work sanctioned by the dunce Water Supply Works Act of 1893, the Secretary for Public Works, or the Member of the Executive Council for the time being charged with the duties of the said Secretary, shall report that fact to the Governor, and the Governor shall notify such completion in the Gazette, and thereupon the Council of the Municipality of Junee shall take over the said work and the administration and management thereof upon the terms and conditions prescribed in Part Eive of the Country Towns Water and Sewerage Act of 1880, and upon any further terms and conditions which the Governor with the advice of the Executive Council may in any case; appoint.

2. Upon the publication of such notification as aforesaid it shall be lawful for the Council to exercise all the powers (and they shall in that case be subject to all the obligations and other provisions) contained in the Country Towns Water and Sewerage Act of 1880, except such as are limited in operation to the Governor or the Minister, and except such as are manifestly inapplicable to the purpose of administering and managing works of water supply.

3. This Act and the Junee Water Supply'Works Act of 1893

shall be read as part of the Country Towns Water and Sewerage Act
of 1880.
