Judicial Officers Regulation 2000 (NSW)

His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Judicial Officers Act 1986.

1Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Judicial Officers Regulation 2000.

2Commencement

This Regulation commences on 1 September 2000.

Note—

This Regulation replaces the Judicial Officers Regulation 1995 which is repealed on 1 September 2000 under section 10 (2) of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1989.

3Notes

The explanatory note and notes in the text of this Regulation do not form part of this Regulation.

4Lodging of complaints

A complaint is to be in the form approved by the Commission and is to be lodged with the Chief Executive of the Commission.

5Verification of complaints

A complaint must be accompanied by particulars of the matter on which the complaint is founded and those particulars must be verified by statutory declaration.

6Savings provision

Any act, matter or thing that, immediately before the repeal of the Judicial Officers Regulation 1995, had effect under that Regulation is taken to have effect under this Regulation.
