These regulations may be cited as the
Judicial Conduct Commissioner (Savings and Transitional) Regulations 2021 .
These regulations come into operation on the day on which the
Independent Commissioner Against Corruption (CPIPC Recommendations) Amendment Act 2021 comes into operation.
In these regulations, unless the contrary intention appears—
Act means theJudicial Conduct Commissioner Act 2015 .
Schedule 1—Savings and transitional provisions (Schedule 1 clause 76 of Independent Commissioner Against Corruption (CPIPC Recommendations) Amendment Act 2021 )
1—Application of laws to continuing complaints etc
(1) The Act as in force before the commencement of Schedule 1 of the
Independent Commissioner Against Corruption (CPIPC Recommendations) Amendment Act 2021 continues to apply in connection with—
(a) any complaint, report or investigation referred to in clause 70 of that Schedule; and
(b) a complaint made on or before 25 August 2021 under any of the integrity Acts.
(2) In this section—
integrity Acts means each of the following:
(a)
Judicial Conduct Commissioner Act 2015 ;(b)
Ombudsman Act 1972 ;(c)
Police Complaints and Discipline Act 2016 .
