AN ACT to amend the Judges' Salaries and
Pensions Act, 1950-1953.
[Assented to 9th December, 1955.]
RE it enacted, by the Queen's Most Excellent
Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Judges' Lhaliatew
Salaries and Pensions Act Amendment Act, 1955.
(2) In this Act the Judges' Salaries and Pensions
Act, 1950-1953,
Act No. 35 of 1950 as amended by Act. No. 70 of 1953,
is referred to as the principal Act.

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Judges' Salaries and Pensions Act, 1950-1955.

| (a) | Chief Justice, at the rate of five hundred and forty pounds per annum; |
| (b) | Judges other than the Chief Justice, at the rate of five hun- dred pounds per annum. |
(1c) For the purposes of the provisions of this Act relating to pensions, the salary of any Judge retiring after the twenty- fourth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and fifty-four, and before the first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and fifty-five, shall be deemed to be three thousand four hun- dred pounds.
3. The Schedule to the principal Act is amended Tie,laeendeiVg.
by deleting the following passage
