AN ACT to determine the rates of Salaries

of the Judges of the Supreme Court.

[Assented to, 20171 December, 1902.]

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with

the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legis-

assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

1.     THIS Act may be cited as the Judges' Salaries Act, 1902,

and shall come into operation on the first day of January, One Short title and

commencement.

2.    THE rate of the annual salary payable to the Chief Justice for

the time being shall be Two thousand pounds, and the rate of the Judges'salaries.

annual salary payable to three puisne Judges for the time being

shall be One thousand seven hundred pounds each.

Such salaries are hereby charged on the Consolidated Revenue Fund, and such fund, to the extent required for the payment thereof, is hereby permanently appropriated.
