and 01 certain Oflcers qf the Civil	Service, of the Province o f
8outh Australia.

HEREAS it is expedient to increase the salaries of the Judges Preamble.

W of the Supreme Court of the Province of South Australia, and of certain officers of the Civil Service of the Province of South

Australia, mentioned in " The Constitution Act " and the "Third Judge and District Courts Act "-Be it therefore Enacted by the Governor of the Province of South Australia, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly of the

said Province, in this present Parliament assembled, as follows:

1. From and after the first day of January, one thousand eight Increasing snlarieaoi

hundred and seventy-four, there shall be payable and paid out of Judges and certain	Civil Servants.
the General Revenue of the said Province, to the First Judge (or
Chief Justice), Second Judge, Third Judge, Crown Solicitor and Public Prosecutor, Under Secretary, and Auditor-General respec-
tively, the salaries mentioned in and set opposite to the respective
titles of the said Judges and Civil Servants in the Schedule hereto, in lieu and instead of the salaries by law now payable to the said Judges and Civil Servants respectively.
