325 Qilje Z 1artt ANNO SEPTIMO DECIMO ELIZABETHAE SECUNDAE REGINAE No. 42 of 1968 An Act to Amend The Judges' Pensions Acts 1957 to 1967 in certain particulars [ ASSENTED TO 19TH DECEMBER, 1968] BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. Short title . This Act may be cited as the Judges' Pensions Acts Amendment Act 1968. 2. Judge retiring at 70 years prior to passing of 6 Eliz. II No. 38 entitled to pension . (1) A Judge of the Supreme Court who retired from office prior to the passing of The Judges' Pensions Act of 1957 on the day on which he attained the age of seventy years shall be entitled as from the date of the passing of this Act for the remainder of his life to an annual pension at the rate of fifty per cents of the salary at the annual rate payable to him immediately before his retirement.
326 Judges ' Pensions Acts Amendment Act 1968, No. 42 (2) A pension under this section- (a) shall accrue due from day to day; and (b) shall be payable monthly (or, subject to approval by the Treasurer, at shorter periodical intervals) out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund which is hereby appropriated accordingly.
