AN ACT providing for the Pensions of the

Judges of the Supreme Court.

[Assented to, 27th October, 0196.]

E it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and

with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and

Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament

assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

THIS Act may be cited as the Judges' Pensions Act, 1896.

Provided that if, after any such pension shall have become

Proviso. payable, the person entitled thereto shall accept any appointment under the Crown in any part of Her Majesty's dominions, then such pension shall, during the tenure of such appointment, be suspended or be reduced pro tanto according as the salary of such appointment added to such pension is greater than the salary of the office held by such Judge when he vacated the same.
