The applicants seek special leave to appeal from a decision of the Court of Appeal of the Supreme Court of Victoria (Niall, Sifris and Walker JJA) dismissing an appeal from a decision of the Supreme Court of Victoria (Daly AsJ).
The application raises no question of public importance, concerning as it does the interpretation of specific provisions in the Domestic Building Contracts Act 1995 (Vic). Moreover, there is no reason to doubt the correctness of the Court of Appeal's unanimous decision. Special leave should be refused.
Pursuant to r 41.08.1 of the High Court Rules 2004 (Cth), we direct the Registrar to draw up, sign and seal an order dismissing the application with costs.
