AN ACT to extend the provisions of " The Joint Stock Companies Ordinance, 1858," to Insurance Companies.

[ Assented. to, 13th September, 1884. ]

HEREAS it is desirable that the provisions of " The Joint

Insurance Companies: Be it enacted by His Excellency theW Stock Companies Ordinance, 1858," should be extended to Governor of Western Australia and its Dependencies, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows :—

1. THE words " or insurance," in the second section of the

said Ordinance, shall be and the same are hereby repealed.

In the name and on behalf of the Queen I hereby assent

to this Act.
