Jetties Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2024

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.Citation

These regulations are the Jetties Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2024.

2.Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

  • (a)

    regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published on the WA legislation website;

  • (b)

    the rest of the regulations — on 1 July 2024.

3.Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Jetties Regulations 1940.

4.Schedule 1 amended

In Schedule 1 after clause 28 insert:

28A. Port Hedland, Spoilbank Marina

  • (1)

    This clause applies to the Spoilbank Marina at Port Hedland.

  • (2)

    In this clause a reference to a service vessel is a reference to any vessel other than a recreational vessel, Government vessel, tourism vessel or fishing vessel.

  • (3)

    The berthing dues payable are set out in the Table.

For the casual daily use of a pen or alongside berth —

•     by a Government vessel, tourism vessel or fishing vessel, an amount calculated using standard Rate 1

•     by a recreational vessel that is 25 m or more in length, an amount calculated using standard Rate 1

•     by a recreational vessel that is less than 25 m in length, an amount calculated using standard Rate 2

For the casual daily use of a pen or alongside berth by a service vessel, an amount calculated per metre of the vessel’s length using the daily rate of
