Jetties Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2005
Made by the Governor in Executive Council.
1. Citation
These regulations are the Jetties Amendment Regulations
(No. 2) 2005.
2. Commencement
These regulations come into operation on 1 July 2005.
3. The regulations amended
The amendments in these regulations are to the Jetties
Regulations 1940*.[* Reprint 5 as at 15 April 2005.]
4. Regulation 3 amended
Regulation 3(1) is amended as follows:
(a)
by inserting the following definition in the appropriate alphabetical position —
“
“Commercial Vessel” has the meaning assigned to it
in the Western Australian Marine Act 1982.

2. Charges for any unspecified services are dependent on the type of service.
3. Under regulation 13, the Port Manager may make extra charges for handling packages over one tonne in weight, or of an exceptional shape, or where extra labour is required or unusual risk is involved.
4. Under regulation 35, the Port Manager may make an extra charge if insufficiently packed goods involve additional labour or risk.
