Jetties Act 1926

Jetties Amendment Regulations 2018

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.       Citation

These regulations are the Jetties Amendment Regulations 2018.

2.     Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a) regulations 1 and 2— on the day on which these

regulations are published in the Gazette;

(b) the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.      Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Jetties Regulations 1940.

4.      Schedule 1 clause 1A amended

In Schedule 1 clause 1A delete "berth for a recreational vessel." and insert:

berth (whether or not the alongside berth is on a service wharf or
jetty) for a recreational vessel.

5.      Schedule 1 clause 1B amended

Table 9.1 (Pen use and alongside berthing)

In Schedule 1 clause 1B(1) after "amount" insert:

to the Department

6.      Schedule 1 clause 9 amended

(1) In Schedule 1 clause 9(2) Table 9.1 delete the heading and
insert:

(2) In Schedule 1 clause 9(2) Table 9.1 delete item 1 and insert:

For the use by a vessel of an alongside berth —

• for short term use by any vessel, an amount

calculated using standard Rate 3

• for casual daily use by a commercial vessel,

an amount calculated using standard Rate 1

7.      Schedule 1 clause 13 amended

In Schedule 1 clause 13(2) Table 13.1 delete the heading and insert:

8.      Schedule 1 clause 14 amended

In Schedule 1 clause 14(2) Table 14.1 delete the heading and insert:

9.      Schedule 1 clause 21 amended

In Schedule 1 clause 21(3) Table 21.1 delete the heading and insert:

10.     Schedule 1 clause 30 amended

In Schedule 1 clause 30 Table 30.1 item 2 delete "metre- and

insert:

metre, or per kilolitre,

11.     Schedule 1 clause 32 amended

In Schedule 1 clause 32 after "$286.00" insert:

per vessel

12.    Schedule 2 clause 1B amended

In Schedule 2 clause 1B delete "berth for a recreational vessel." and insert:

berth (whether or not the alongside berth is on a service wharf or
jetty) for a recreational vessel.

13.    Schedule 2 clause 1C amended

In Schedule 2 clause 1C(1) after "amount" insert:

to the Department
